Explanation

This is the seventh installment of the Garfield Numerosity series, based on the Numerosity series from Sesame Street. This comic adapts the seventh film, which centers around the number 7. That film ended with the baker carrying 7 pumpkin pies, but that scene isn't adapted. Here's each panel of the comic in order:

• 7 straws: This panel uses an image of Garfield carrying a giant cherry phosphate with 7 straws in it.
• 7 circles: This panel uses the cover panel from the 2000-08-20 strip. The original panel showed the title of the comic scratched into the chalkboard, with Odie standing nearby, clearly affected by the scratching. This panel crops out Odie's side and replaces the scratches with a drawing of 7 circles, mimicking the layout of the original scene.
• 7 ducks: This panel uses 7 copies of a duck cropped out of the first panel of a comic (2011-09-27) where Garfield finds one near a "Beware of Dog" sign with "Duck" taped over "Dog", much to his amusement.
• 7 spooky spiders: This panel uses an unidentified comic panel edit to show Garfield with 7 spiders.
• 7 nickels: This panel uses an image of a Garfield piggy bank with 7 nickels in front of it.
