Odie Looking At Something In 2053

Made by: IQ-ranger

Explanation

This strip pokes fun at the "Garfield in 2053" approach by designing an Odie-themed variation; it takes the original Garfield strip, a strip where Odie is set up with the same pose across all three panels much like Garfield in 2013-01-17 (one day beyond exactly ten years earlier than the original Garfield strip used in this strip), and essentially gives it the "Garfield in 2053" treatment by deleting all elements other than Odie, the background, the ledge, and the first panel's signature and written date from all three panels.

The author writes:

What was Odie looking so intently at on his right side? That we may never know.

Original strip: 2023-01-18.

Transcript

{Odie is standing by the table looking at something to his right side}
{Odie does the same in the second and third panels of the strip}
