Explanation

This takes a normal old Garfield strip and turns it into something creepy, minimalist, and meta. The "brisk bout" line adds an extra layer of unease (a "bout" could mean a fight, a drinking spree, an illness… or something involving actual noodles?). It feels like the eyeballs are about to do something unhinged,
