I thought of something in my head: "That donut was from Jon, so why not put two more panels with him in the strip?"

{Garfield reaches towards a donut}
{A donut shoulder angel appears}
Angel Donut: Don't eat that poor, defenseless donut!
{A donut shoulder devil appears}
Devil Donut: Don't listen to him! Chow down, pal!
Angel Donut: Do what is right! Do what's in your heart!
{Garfield looks at the screen unamused}
{Garfield is gone, and all three have been eaten and their crumbs remain}
{Jon comes in and notices his donuts has been eaten}
Jon {angrily}: GARFIELD!
