Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany during World War II, is agreed by many to be one of the evilest men on Earth, given his world-conquering ambitions and his indirect contribution to the Holocaust with his spread of antisemitism, so when people are asked how they'd use time travel to improve the world, the most common answer is killing Hitler in hopes of preventing World War II, the Holocaust, and all the other horrible things he did. However, as fiction has shown time and time again, actually doing this and earning a good outcome would be (theoretically) easier said than done.
Aside from Hitler being fortunate enough to survive over 40 assassination attempts in his life, many stories about time travelers killing Hitler tend to factor in the unpredictable nature of the Butterfly Effect, leading to bad things associated with Hitler being replaced with even worse things. Of course, given Garfield's perspective on what makes life pleasant, the thing that makes him regret killing Hitler is when they cease production of frozen pudding pops.
