Explanation[edit | edit source]

In the original Garfield strip, Jon was holding a painting and he put it on the wall. Now Odie is in the painting, which makes Garfield shocked.

In this strip, Jon holds a painting of the Bob-Omb Battlefield painting from Super Mario 64, and he hangs it on the wall. Now Odie is in the Super Mario 64 painting, which makes Garfield get shocked.
