Explanation[edit | edit source]

In the original Garfield strips, Garfield knew what was in this stump and he put his head inside the stump. Then, Garfield gave a stump a rock and the stump ate it.

Here, they have been mashed up to make this. Garfield must know what was in the stump and the stump ate Garfield then spits out a bone. Garfield is now outside of the tree somehow saying "That was awesome!"

Stump: ROAR!
SFX: Rip! Snort! Chomp! {Garfield is pulled inside the stump}
Stump: Munch munch ptooey! {spits out a bone}
Garfield: {Now outside of tree somehow} That was awesome!
