Explanation[edit | edit source]

In the original Garfield strip, Garfield walked into a Health Food Store, craving for food. Then he walks out, and searches for food everywhere.

In 2811, one author got rid of it and put up a title called "insert name or logo of restaurant or grocery store here", which was a Take That! bait.

In 2973, another author put the INTEL logo on the store.

And in this strip, the author felt the need to re-add snark to it. The author doesn't want to be met with disagreement when he says that Intel graphics chips are not that useful for gamers or cryptocurrency miners, the two main users of GPUs at time of writing.

It was added while the other was stuck waiting in the metaqueue: given recent computer security headlines, he felt the need to add even more snark to the original strip.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

After seeing SRoMG #2973, I felt the need to re-add snark to the original strip. I hope I'm not going to be met with much disagreement when I say that Intel® Graphics chips are not that useful for gamers or cryptocurrency miners, the two main users of GPUs at time of writing.

Addendum, added while this was stuck waiting in the metaqueue: Given some recent computer security headlines, I felt the need to add even more snark to the original.
