Explanation[edit | edit source]

Contrary to the intended premise implied by both title and author's notes, Touhou Project is a series of video games which, as of this writing, has never had an official anime adaptation. Touhou presence at anime conventions would usually involve either the games themselves, as the games are typically distributed through anime conventions, or their manga adaptations. The author also misspells every visibly-facing instance of the word "otaku", ironically only spelling it correctly in the link to its Wikipedia article.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

An anime exhibition is a kind of very very big party of okatus, where some of the okatus cosplay anime girls and some other of the okatus sell their re-creations of animes while the others just watch and buy. (If you don't know what "okatu", "cosplay", or "anime" mean, welcome to the 21st century, pal!)

Reisen Udongein Inaba is a 2D girl who comes from Touhou Project.

Don't ask me why the heck Jon goes to an anime exhibition with a list and a cart. You know, don't you?

Original strip: 2013-06-23.
