Explanation[edit | edit source]

In the original, the announcer on the television interrupted the show for a word from their sponsor. While this would normally mean that the sponsor would advertise their good or service, in this case, the use of "a" is more literal, as the sponsor only says "sasquatch".

In this edit, the announcer tells us it's time for Tuna Hour, presumably a 60-minute (minus commercials) show about tuna. But then, the announcer says that tuna half hours would be longer. While a half hour is only 30 minutes, "tuna half hours" is a pun on "two-and-a-half hours". The title itself makes a pun using the name of another fish, the minnow, as it sounds like "minute", the word for one-sixtieth of an hour.
