Explanation[edit | edit source]
The adjective "focal", according to Merriam-Webster, means to "have central or great importance". Likewise, the "focal point" usually refers to the central figure of an image in photography.
This strip collects several 2007 Garfield strips, arranged so that the focal point is Garfield's unamused face. This is yet another demonstration of the repetitive art style of the comic.
