Explanation[edit | edit source]

In this strip, Jon begins speaking but trails off, admitting that he forgets what happened next. As he stares into space, the background shifts to a darker, desaturated tone, and a crumpled piece of paper appears on the table. The eerie atmosphere evokes themes of memory loss and decay, referencing Everywhere at the End of Time, a six-album project by The Caretaker that explores dementia through progressively distorted music.

The author acknowledges SRoMG’s tendency to incorporate obscure media references, saying that they don’t remember enough about Everywhere at the End of Time to properly describe it—ironically mirroring the theme of memory deterioration.

The author writes:[edit | edit source]

On today's episode of SRoMG rule 34G (any media no matter how obscure will one day be used in an SRoMG strip): Everywhere at the end of time

I would tell you about it but uh... I don't really remember enough about it to give a description about it

Original strip: 2003-09-17.
