In this comic, Lubaf escalates Garfield's misanthropy by giving the name of a film in which the whole world gets blown up: 1970's Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

Immediately upon seeing SRoMG #1532, I thought that the joke could be improved by going for a movie that ends with [spoiler alert] the whole world getting blown up.
